From humble beginnings on a small farm near Vancouver, BC, Daryl has lived a life fueled by grit, creativity, and adventure. With roots in construction and entrepreneurship—from launching concerts to running a modeling agency—his journey has been anything but ordinary.

After enduring life’s storms, including a $250K business loss during the pandemic, Daryl turned challenge into opportunity. A RAM 1500 build became the launchpad for unforgettable overland adventures with his son Cayden and their pug Tosha, giving birth to Vancity Adventure.

Balancing a construction career with weekend explorations and storytelling on YouTube, Daryl brings an honest, down-to-earth perspective to overlanding. He’s not chasing fame—he’s chasing freedom, connection, and memories that last a lifetime.

A modern, creative kid, Cayden balances his love for gaming and tech with writing, video editing, and artwork that brings Vancity Adventure to life. Lately, he’s stepped behind the camera, capturing his own perspective and adding a fresh lens to the family’s overlanding adventures.

Off the trails, Cayden pursues martial arts with dedication, earning his black belt in Taekwondo through discipline and hard work. He’s not just along for the ride—he’s shaping the journey.
