Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how vancityadventure.ca (the “Site”), operated by Vancity Adventure Films Inc., uses cookies and similar technologies. Questions: info@vancityadventure.ca.
What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site work properly, remember your preferences and cart contents, and help us understand how visitors use the site.
Cookies We Use
Strictly necessary cookies: These are required for the Site to function — for example, keeping items in your shopping cart, processing checkout, and keeping you logged in if you have an account. The Site cannot work properly without these.
Analytics and performance cookies: These help us count visits and understand which pages and videos are popular so we can improve the Site and our content. The information is collected in aggregate form.
Functional and embedded-media cookies: Our pages embed videos from platforms such as YouTube and Vimeo. When you play an embedded video, that platform may set its own cookies and collect data under its own privacy and cookie policies.
Advertising and affiliate cookies: Some links on the Site are affiliate links. When you click one, the partner site may use a cookie to attribute your purchase so we receive our commission, at no extra cost to you.
Managing Cookies
Most browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the Site — such as the shop and checkout — from working correctly. You can also avoid embedded-media cookies by not playing embedded videos on the Site and watching on the platform’s own website instead.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with the date it was last updated.
